Night Loading Craftsman; Seasonal-CA

About the Role

We are seeking individuals who like working with their hands, are detail oriented and enjoy being a part of a team. In this role you will load our beautiful plants onto racks so they may be shipped to our customers throughout the country.

Employment is full‑time, seasonal for approximately 3 to 5 months, with the possibility of year‑round employment, subject to change based on the business needs.

During Peak Season:
Monday to Wednesday, 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm;
Thursday and Friday 7:00 am‑3:30 pm. Start time may be subject to change based on the business need, and hours worked on previous day. Overtime will be available based on workload for the day and the business need.

$17.15 Per Hour

• Locating the proper plants on the trailers and placing them directly onto the shipping racks and/or trucks.
• Unloading returned plants as necessary.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area on the dock.
• Assisting other departments as needed.
• Performing other related duties to benefit the mission of the company as assigned.

• Ideally have experience working in agriculture.
• Open to feedback.
• Enjoy working in a team environment and being supportive of co‑workers.
• Can work in inclement weather conditions, i.e. hot, cold, and rainy.
• Have basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Experience driving a tractor or forklift.
• Open to working extended hours if needed, based on the business need.
• Can lift up to 35 pounds repeatedly or 50+ pounds on occasion.
• Full range of mobility in upper and lower body, can reach overhead, and work in various positions including stooping, standing, walking, bending over, and squatting; can lift, pull, and push materials, use hands and fingers to feel, handle plants or operate objects, tools or controls; able to use close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus, all with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Durante la temporada alta: lunes a miércoles de 3:00 pm a 11:30, y jueves y viernes de 7:00 am a 3:30 pm. La hora de inicio puede estar sujeta a cambios según las necesidades del negocio y las horas trabajadas el día anterior. Se ofrecerán horas extras en función de la carga de trabajo del día y las necesidades de la empresa.
