Overview

Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $17.25 USD per hour

Target is seeking a Style Consultant who focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, strong operations, and compelling visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and drive sales.

• Drive sales and maintain a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards, promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings to assist guests as needed.
• Use store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and guest needs; support guests accordingly.
• Sort truck freight, push freight to the sales floor, and locate merchandise in the backroom based on business needs.
• Set visual presentations and following visual merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing priority fills, manual fills, and merchandising to capacity.
• Maintain backroom organization to support replenishment, fulfillment, and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price changes and clearance merchandising with appropriate signage.
• Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and help guests.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by processing items from the fitting room and guest service back to the sales floor as needed.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU), and Drive-up (DU) while complying with applicable laws and policies.
• Greet guests, assist with tasks, solve guest needs, and thank them for choosing to shop with Target.
• All other duties based on business needs.

Training is provided; basic skills expected include:

• Interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories

• Ability to use handheld scanners and other technology
• Effective communication skills; ability to work independently or with a team
• Ability to resolve guest questions quickly and stay focused in a fast-paced environment

Additional basics we expect: accurately handle cash operations; climb ladders; move merchandise safely (up to 15 pounds frequently, up to 44 pounds occasionally); flexible schedule; able to work in varying temperatures; stay mobile during shifts.
