Merchandise and Stocking Associate

Overview

Merchandise and Stocking Associate at Sam's Club. Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $25.00/hr the role involves working on your feet, keeping things neat and organized, helping members locate products, and supporting daily store operations.

• Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; guiding and supporting members regarding self-service technology; assisting with purchasing decisions; locating merchandise; resolving member issues and promoting the company's products and services.
• Maintain safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures; conduct safety sweeps; follow forklift spotting procedures; handle and dispose of hazardous materials per procedures; report unsafe situations to management.
• Maintain sales floor and merchandise presentation by properly zoning the area; stocking and organizing merchandise; setting up and cleaning product displays; removing damaged goods; signing and pricing merchandise; identify shrink and damages; secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
• Monitor product quality, rotation, dating, recalls, and sanitation; ensure prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics; apply Open Door Policy in executing business processes.
• Complete work assignments by using policies and data; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; prioritize deadlines; communicate progress; adapt to change and feedback.
• Assist with club pick up orders, ensuring selection and staging according to policy and procedures.
• Remain a team player contributing to a positive store environment.

• Physical ability to lift and move boxes and other heavy objects (more than 25 pounds)
