- Short-Term Mission (STM) Experiences and Teams
- a. Maintain and grow relationships with the Short-Term Missions host sites (where we take teams).
- b. Form and implement a 3-part plan for STM each year, including locations and dates, mobilizing team leaders and teams. Pre-field training, Going (on the field STM Experience), Post-field debrief and integration.
- c. Train and equip Team Leaders and develop and lead training for each team.
- d. Promote STM Teams and encourage participation across campuses at WLC.
- e. Assess the impact, fruit, and discipleship integration of each STM team in living the Disciple LIFE.
- f. Facilitate ongoing promotion of opportunities, partnership updates, and ongoing connection to host sites.
- g. Oversee and manage the STM budget.
- Global Partners
- a. Maintain strong partnerships and relationships with our Global partners, both missionaries and mission organizations, ensuring that they align with WLC’s values and the partnerships are mutually beneficial.
- b. Facilitate deeper engagement and prayer for and with mission partners.
- c. Coordinate and support Barnabus Teams (care‑prayer‑emotional‑relationship support) for sent missionaries and other supported missionaries as deemed appropriate.
- d. Support and facilitate hosting WLC sent and supported missionaries and mission partners, providing refreshment for them and opportunities for a growing number of the WLC family to be exposed to and connected to them.
- e. Develop a Global Missions Support Team to strengthen and develop current and future partnerships.
- f. Oversee and manage the Global Reach budget.
- g. Field global missionary and organization requests and consider future partnerships.
- Disciple of Jesus who is passionate about discipling others
- Strong leadership and excitement to lead, equip and multiply leaders
- Passion for missions and for the world...for seeing the nations discipled
- Adaptability: able to succeed in a dynamic, team environment
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- IT skills (MS 365, PCO database, etc.)
- Hungry to grow
- Initiative to blaze new paths in support of the WLC vision
- Reliability and discretion: you will often learn of confidential matters
- A fun and humble disposition.
- Developing Spiritual, Relational, Emotional, and Physical Health
- Setting and measuring goals (rocks) for personal growth and job performance growth on a quarterly basis
- Obtain job-specific training/certification as required
- AA degree, preferably in a related field (Missions, Ministry, Education, Leadership)
- 1-3 years of work experience in a professional setting desired
- 20 hours per week; flexible schedule with some mandatory meetings.
