Tool and Die Maker

Overview

Harvey Vogel Manufacturing Co., a leader in metal stampings, has immediate openings for experienced Tool & Die Makers on our 1st and 2nd shifts. Our tool makers build and maintain a wide range of progressive, compound, and secondary dies.

• Build and troubleshoot new tooling per design requirements
• Modify existing tooling per customer requirements
• Support multiple company departments
• Communicate with department managers on status of jobs
• Ability to multitask in a high-paced environment
• Must be able to read blue prints
• Must be able to utilize surface grinders, drill presses, Bridgeport mills, and secondary toolroom equipment
• Knowledge and operation of all tool room equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair tooling
• Ability to follow procedures and instructions per ISO requirements
• Candidates must have a minimum of 3 - 5 years of Tool Making experience
