Appointment Scheduler (Healthcare) - Minnesota Urology

Minnesota Urology is hiring an Appointment Scheduler to support patient access and scheduling operations across our clinics. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with patients, managing details, and contributing to efficient clinical workflows in a healthcare setting. As the first point of contact for many patients, the Appointment Scheduler plays an important role in creating a positive experience while ensuring appointments are scheduled accurately and efficiently.

Hourly Pay Range: $18.80 - $23.50 (Dependent on prior healthcare appointment scheduling experience)

• Answer incoming calls and assist patients with scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments.
• Gather relevant patient information, identify appropriate appointment types, and coordinate scheduling based on provider availability.
• Update patient records, document interactions, and use electronic health record systems to manage appointments and send reminders.
• Communicate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and support daily clinic operations.
• Provide courteous, patient-focused service and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication, professional and empathetic interaction with patients.
• Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Experience or comfort using scheduling software or electronic health record systems.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well within a team.
• Customer-service mindset.
