DescriptionWoodbury Health Care Center, a Lifespark Skilled Nursing Community, is looking for a dedicated and passionate Social Services Director to join our growing team. Woodbury Health Care Center is home to seniors requiring Transitional Care Unit (TCU) Care and Long-Term Care. We are in Woodbury, next to Woodbury High School. We have been helping seniors Age Magnificently since 1979 and are part of Senior Care Communities, a local non-profit supporting seniors.

Our Director of Social Services becomes family and impacts the lives of our residents who live in a Lifespark Senior Living Community. In this position, you will be responsible for the operations of the Social Services department, providing for each resident’s social, emotional, and psychological needs and the continuing development of the resident’s full potential from admission to discharge.
$35.00-$40.00 & $2,500.00 Sign on Bonus paid out for the first year of employment
ResponsibilitiesIn this role you will oversee the operations of the Social Services department, ensuring the social, emotional, and psychological needs of each resident are met from admission to discharge.
Qualifications- Valid state licensure as a Social Worker.
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or a human services field (including but not limited to Sociology, Psychology, Special Education, or Rehabilitation Counseling).
- Two years in long-term care or acute care preferred.
- One year of supervised social work experience in a health care setting working directly with individuals.
- Annual reviews with wage increases.
- Paid time off & paid holidays.
