The Rheumatology Clinic Supervisor is responsible for supervising staff and managing the day-to-day operations of assigned clinic departments, ensuring excellent patient service and delivery of care.

This is a full-time role working Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM out of our Woodbury, Stillwater & Eagan locations.

Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Functions
  • Effectively recruit, on-board, train, supervise, and retain Clinical Care Coordinators, RN’s and Lab employees
  • Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure safe and effective patient care, infusion therapy, and lab services
  • Have a basic working understanding of Infusion, medication ordering, prior authorization, patient assistance programs, and phlebotomy
  • Coordinate the weekly schedule for appropriate staff coverage
  • Manage Lab workflow, policy and best practices coordination with lab leaders
  • Ensure staff are cross trained in roles of Lab and Clinical Care Coordinator
  • Operate as a liaison between management and clinic staff to ensure quality and efficiency of patient service, including collaboration with infusion nurses, care coordinators and regional supervisors
  • Conduct frequent, timely, and appropriate communications with employees through meetings and one-on-one sessions
  • Conduct site visits to locations where rheumatology and lab services are offered
  • Conduct annual reviews of direct reports, including determination of any relevant compensation adjustments
  • Complete payroll processes as needed in HRIS, including leave of absences, time off requests, job changes, department transfers, terminations
  • Occasionally participate in community functions relating to TCO outreach events throughout the year
  • Any and all other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or applicable experience
  • Minimum of 1 year supervisory/leadership experience. Healthcare setting preferred.
  • Experience with phlebotomy preferred
  • Working knowledge of all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines

  • Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Understand and execute a variety of instructions
  • Effectively operate equipment and communicate on and operate the phone system
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Travel to other work locations, if required
