Senior Sales Associate

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in retail to deliver exemplary customer service, achieve sales goals, and contribute to a selling culture that elevates the kate spade new york brand experience.

• Client & Service Expert:
  Achieves individual sales goals; develops strong product knowledge across all categories; delivers exemplary customer service and builds personal connections with guests using effective selling skills.
• Leadership Presence:
  Achieves personal sales goals; maintains extensive product knowledge; partners with Store Manager and Assistant Manager to elevate selling culture and initiate in-store business driving events.
• Building Brand Equity:
  Understands and communicates the kate spade new york brand aesthetic and lifestyle; builds relationships with clients as a brand ambassador; communicates client feedback to store leadership to improve service and sales.
• Operational Excellence:
  Performs and supervises store opening/closing procedures, including cash handling and securing the facility.

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Strong communication skills; proven ability to contribute to an elevated selling culture; elevated sense of personal style.
• Physical requirements:
  
  ability to work the store schedule (evenings/weekends); standing for extended periods; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; comfortable climbing ladders.
