Experts of store process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store. This team conducts inventory accuracy, merchandise set-up and maintenance and pricing processes for all areas of the store.

Experts enable efficient delivery to our guests by supporting pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store
• Experience in retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement
• Experience executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
• Engage with guests to assist with their needs and solve specific issues
• Thank guests and communicate appreciation for their visit
• Receive products, restock shelves, organize backroom, arrange merchandise, and set up promotional signs for GM areas
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures if certified
• Change prices, set up and maintain merchandise, and ensure inventory accuracy as directed
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability
• Be knowledgeable about resources, products, and services to solve guest issues
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
• Work safely; comply with safety policies, report hazards, and correct where possible
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (e.g., picking/packing orders, delivering pickup orders) while adhering to policies including adult beverage laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
• Climb ladders safely
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds without assistance
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable and prompt attendance
• Capable of working in varying temperatures and conditions while performing duties (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout)
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift
