Registered Nurse Traveler – Emergency Department

Position: 14‑week temporary assignment, nights (12‑hour shifts) at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center, Woodbridge, VA. Compensation: $80 per hour.

Third shift (night)

• Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Diploma in Nursing
• Registered Nurse licensed in Virginia
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• TNCC preferred
• At least 2 years recent bedside acute care RN experience in an Emergency Department
• Ability to work independently (primary position) with flexible scheduling
• EPIC user experience strongly preferred

The RN will deliver comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process and professional standards, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching, health promotion, and evaluation. The RN will perform clinical assessments, coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, and maintain compliance with ethical and evidence‑based practice standards.
