We are seeking a Full‑Time Speech Therapist (SLP) to join the compassionate team at Virginia Home Care Services, Inc. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to provide personalized care in patients’ homes. You will work directly with patients, addressing speech, language, cognitive‑communication, and swallowing needs to help them regain independence.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for speech, language, cognitive‑communication, and swallowing.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive skills.
• Provide hands‑on therapy and practical interventions to promote progress and independence.
• Educate patients and caregivers with clear guidance and techniques for at‑home exercises.
• Track and adjust therapy plans based on patient progress, ensuring optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team (nurses, physicians, PTs, OTs, and more) to deliver coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation to meet clinical and compliance standards.

• Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Virginia SLP license and CPR certification.
• 2+ years of experience as a Speech Therapist (home health experience preferred but not required).
• Strong clinical judgment and evidence‑based practice skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Compassionate, patient‑first approach.
• Experience with Home Care Home Base (HCHB) is a plus.
