Responsibilities- Lead all aspects of the clinical interdisciplinary team, planning, developing, and implementing operational practices that deliver individual‑centered, timely, safe, effective, efficient, equitable, and recovery‑oriented care.
- Establish and model a culture of continuous clinical excellence, performance improvement, and professional growth. Provide timely and consistent feedback to promote positive behaviors.
- Partner with Medical Leadership to ensure high‑quality, consistent service delivery across all disciplines; identify clinical opportunities to improve revenue through billing. Manage fiscal aspects of clinical service delivery, including monthly budget reviews, revenue‑expense analysis, and participatory budgeting.
- Identify, manage, and measure all aspects of clinical quality related to service delivery. Oversee QA/PI activities, set and review internal performance goals, and provide timely, accurate data to MCOs and external partners.
- Collaborate with compliance staff to ensure clinical services, documentation, training, and supervision meet regulatory requirements; participate in program compliance monitoring.
- Provide necessary clinical supervision for staff and perform all other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or social services.
- Independent clinical licensure in Virginia (LMHP) with required category (psychiatrist, psychologist, social worker, therapist, RN, pharmacist, etc.).
- 7 years of clinical behavioral health operations experience.
- 5 years of progressive leadership experience.
- Experience or responsibility managing a P&L.
- Experience leading large behavioral health teams in a high‑acuity, 24‑hour facility.
- Proficiency in Safe Clinch restraint techniques.
- Must hold a Virginia Fingerprint Clearance card and pass VA DBHDS and VA DSS background checks.
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Services, or Nursing.
- 10 years of clinical, crisis operations, or relevant experience.
- 5 years of progressive leadership experience with P&L responsibility.
- Advanced licensure in Nursing or Behavioral Health.
- Experience in emergency behavioral health policies, procedures, and regulatory expectations.
