The Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking highly motivated Specialty Instructors to join our team! Instructors should have experience, interest, and knowledge in one or more specialties ranging from Science/STEM, Arts, Crafts, Music, Environmental Education, Technology, Parent/Guardian & Child, and more.
Instructors should have experience working with youth, teens and adults, and are able to demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm and care for the program and participants. Specialty Instructors work independently and are responsible for activity planning, supervision of students, participant safety, customer service and providing a quality experience to those enrolled in the program.
Please note that working hours are dependent on enrollment and require flexibility to include evening and weekend hours.

Minimum Requirements- High school diploma / G.E.D. and 6-12 months of related experience.
- Applicants must be 18 years or older.
The Department of Parks and Recreation conducts DMV records checks on all employees driving for work purposes and criminal background checks on all hires age 18 years and older. Fingerprinting will be required.
