Parking Operations Specialist General Description
This position performs routine administrative, operational, financial, and customer‑support services related to campus parking and NOVACard operations.
Responsibilities- Perform front‑office duties including permit sales, citation payments, NOVACard issuance, cash drawer reconciliation, and general customer support.
- Manage Print Services: refill paper, toner, and staples as needed, and troubleshoot paper jams.
- Support duties: monitor Smarter Track for tickets, address tickets as required, and elevate to Tier 2 when necessary.
- Perform parking enforcement duties: check applicable parking areas for infractions, issue citations, maintain parking equipment and hardware.
- Operate a state enforcement vehicle while performing duties.
- Interpret and apply policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to answer phones.
- Good problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Customer service experience.
- Computer experience working in a Windows environment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience in an office environment.
- Cash‑handling experience.
- Experience dealing with customer concerns and problems.
