Overview

Visual Elements is a value-added manufacturer of custom retail fixtures, components and visual merchandising products based in Toronto. We work closely with designers and architects to create superior quality consumer environments and develop new products and finishes to meet the demands of a globally competitive retail sector. From full retail environments to a store fixture to retail shelving to a simple visual display, our custom fixtures become part of the retail environments of some of the most prestigious retailers worldwide.

As a Production Apprentice you will have the opportunity to learn the full manufacturing process through cross departmental training. Our 18-month Apprentice Program will have you working hands on alongside industry experts, utilizing state of the art, innovative machinery. At the completion of your apprentice training, you will be placed in a full-time manufacturing position which best utilizes your skills and abilities.

As an Apprentice, you will enjoy:

• Building on your academic studies by learning about all manufacturing departments and processes, i.e. Machining, Fitting, Welding, Finishing, Assembly, etc.
• Reading engineering drawings and applying them to daily activities.
• Building a career within the retail environment industry; working on large scale client projects.

• Pursuing a skilled trades degree or related field.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• A positive attitude toward teamwork and strong relational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
