Artifactory Platform Engineer

Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for an Artifactory Platform Engineer, a W2 contract opportunity with one of our largest clients!

This is a W2 contract opportunity, and the candidates should be willing to work on our W2 ONLY, NO C2C.

In this contingent resource assignment, you may:
Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.

Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
• 3+ year with JFrog suite tools, focusing on installing, configuring, deploying, upgrading and maintaining Artifactory
• 3+ years Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
• 3+ years Software Development (Scripting, Python, Java, Groovy, BASH, UNIX)
• Hands on experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices
• Knowledge of Enterprise Pipeline (CI/CD) ecosystem
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Knowledge of Artifactory SaaS version
• Experience in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Best Practices
• Experience with Build tools (Gradle, Maven, NPM, Nuget, Gems, Docker, Helm)
• Experience in development, build, deployment, and automation in Dev Ops environment.
• Experience in HTTP communication.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience in Harness, Jenkins and Terraform
• Desire to become Subject Matter Expert in SaaS, Curation Modules and Xray
• Knowledge in software architecture methodologies
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Git Hub Actions, Sonar, Black Duck, Fortify)
• Experience with Web/application servers (Apache Tomcat, Web Logic, Web Sphere, JBoss)
• Development experience with a focus on building CI/CD pipelines with workflow automation
• Knowledge of solution design leveraging IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
• Fluency with modern monitoring and logging systems (Azure Monitor, Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus)
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence and expressing non-functional requirements as stories

5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
