The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Iselin, NJ is $100k - $105k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based microservices using Spring Boot framework.
- Implement messaging solutions with Kafka to enable real‑time data processing and communication between services.
- Integrate with Mongo
DB and other databases to store and retrieve dynamic banking data efficiently. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including UX/UI designers, QA, and business analysts to deliver high‑quality software.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and adherence to coding standards.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the continuous improvement of our technology stack.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance in a production environment.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming language.
- Experience with Spring Boot framework for microservices development.
- Hands‑on experience with Apache Kafka or similar messaging systems.
- Knowledge of No
SQL databases, especially Mongo
DB. - Understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and cloud deployment practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Good problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced banking environment.
