Overview
Garden State Veterinary Services is hiring Veterinary Client Services - Overnight to support a busy hospital. If you enjoy being part of a team of compassionate, dedicated staff committed to helping animals, this is a great opportunity.
Location: Garden State Veterinary Services, 1200 Route 9, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.
Schedule: Wednesday 4pm – 2:30am, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 9:30pm – 8am or Sunday – Wednesday 9:30pm – 8am.
Responsibilities- Assist front desk operations as part of the veterinary emergency/specialty practice team.
- Greet clients and set a positive tone for the client experience.
- Check clients in and out of the hospital, book appointments, and handle payments.
- Answer multi-line phone systems and provide courteous customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain accurate data entry and pay attention to detail.
- Discuss deposits and financial questions with clients when appropriate.
- Collaborate with clinicians and support staff in a respectful, professional manner.
- 2+ years of veterinary or high client-focused service experience required.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to act as liaison between clients and clinical staff.
- Experience handling multiple phone lines and fast-paced customer interactions.
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
- Comfort with discussing deposits and financial questions with clients.
- Empathy, discretion, and professionalism; ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Commitment to developing long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and contribute to a fun, collaborative team.
