Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Compo under to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a background in handling and weighing various types of liquid and solid raw materials, including chemicals and essential oils, and will be proficient in using specialized equipment to produce flavor emulsions.
Responsibilities- Handle and weigh various types of liquid and solid raw materials, including chemicals and essential oils.
- Utilize and maintain two-stage homogenizers and shearmills to produce flavor emulsions.
- Blend and mix ingredients for intermediate use and finished products.
- Perform sanitation duties, including Clean-In-Place (CIP) and Clean-Out-of-Place (COP).
- Complete related duties as assigned by the manager in the lab.
- 2-3 years of experience in compounding liquids in the food and beverage industry.
- 2-3 years of experience with homogenizers.
- 2-3 years of experience in emulsification.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in the food and beverage industry.
The work environment requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety goggles. The company anticipates a 30% growth next year, offering an exciting opportunity to grow with a leading manufacturer. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Avenel, NJ.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
