Overview
Ice Manager/Zamboni Driver for the Recreation Department of Woodbridge Township. We are looking for someone who is friendly, hardworking, self-motivated, mechanically inclined, provides the highest level of customer service and has strong communication skills.
Responsibilities- Perform duties as ice rink manager at two ice rink facilities
- Provide a valid Driver’s License/Zamboni Driver
- Perform skate inspections and maintenance on a daily basis
- General ice maintenance and shift cleaning on a daily basis
- Interact with all age levels of hockey players and open public session customers
- Supervise ice staff; supervisory experience is preferred
- Enforce rink rules and maintain security of the building during youth activities
- Oversee skating area during public skating sessions
- Ability to ice skate is a plus but not necessary
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience or willingness to work with ice staff; supervisory experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong customer service and communication skills
