Property Maintenance Laborer
Position Type:
Full-Time
We are seeking a dependable, hard-working Property Maintenance Laborer to assist with the upkeep, repair, and improvement of our residential rental community. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and well-functioning properties.
The right candidate will be mechanically inclined, self-motivated, and able to work outdoors in all seasons while supporting our maintenance and property management team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general property and grounds maintenance
- Assist with apartment turnovers and move-in/move-out preparation
- Support maintenance technicians with repairs and installations
- Clean and maintain common areas, hallways, basements, and exterior grounds
- Handle trash removal, snow removal, and seasonal cleanup
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment
- Assist with landscaping and exterior upkeep
- Ensure work areas are safe, clean, and organized
- Follow instructions from the maintenance supervisor and property manager
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic mechanical or construction knowledge preferred
- Experience in maintenance, labor, or trades is a plus
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and grow into higher-level maintenance tasks
- Handy and mechanically inclined
- Dependable and punctual
- Takes pride in physical work
- Comfortable with tools and equipment
- Works efficiently without constant supervision
