Leads interaction design, information architecture and/or visual design strategy for programs and/or projects, and executes on UI design deliverables

• Lead development of overarching approach to user experience and direct user experience design of all web projects including visual design, user flow, information architecture, page layout
• Understand target audiences  needs, tasks, and goals and translate them into creative concepts
• Oversee integration of site IA and functional concept with visual concept and content
• Organize content into logical categories and develop structural design through establishing the foundation of information access and functional relationships at the site and page-level
• Produce site maps, flow charts, functional specifications and navigational wireframes to drive target audience’s online experience
• Update and maintain site maps, flow charts, functional specifications and navigational wireframes for all externally-facing websites
• Produce graphic sketches, designs, and copy layouts for online design concepts and delivery to customer
• Determines size and arrangement of illustrative material, selects style and size of type, and arranges layout based upon available space, knowledge of layout principles, and aesthetic design concepts
• Lead and/or participate in user research, concept testing, and usability testing
• Keep abreast of and present on competitive trends & best practices in user experience design
• Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates that meet SDLC standards
• Participate in scrum events:
  Daily Stand up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience working as an UI developer in the financial services industry.
• Experienced in Scrum or other agile development methodologies.
• Able to work evenings and weekends to support production releases and break fix
• Travel will be required to the West Coast for training and knowledge transfer
• The ideal candidate with be eligible for hire in the United States without sponsorship.
• Excellent communications skills
