Overview
Hiring:
System Administrator (Contract-to-Perm)
Location: Iselin, NJ (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)
Contract: 6–24 months (Contract to Permanent)
We are looking for a System Administrator to support and maintain enterprise middleware and infrastructure environments. This role is ideal for someone with strong Linux administration skills and hands-on experience in application server support.
Responsibilities- Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Tomcat and middleware environments
- Perform system administration tasks on Linux/Unix servers
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high system availability
- Support middleware components and application deployments
- Work with F5 load balancers and/or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams
- Strong experience as a System Administrator
- Hands-on expertise with Tomcat
- Solid Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills
- Experience supporting middleware environments
- Knowledge of F5 load balancers or cloud infrastructure
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Scripting experience (Shell, Bash)
- Monitoring and performance tuning experience
- Exposure to Dev Ops tools or CI/CD pipelines
