Title: Information Security Engineer (SAST Engineer)

Pay Range: $80-85/hr on W2 (No C2C)

In this contingent resource assignment, candidate may:

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Information Security Engineering.
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Information Security Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

• 5 plus years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

• Provide hands on technical support for Checkmarx platform
• Drive vendor accountability to address product defects
• Support patching, upgrade testing
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Application Security Champions, development team members and offshore partners
• Ensure documentation is current and reflects, process changes and have an eye for detail

• 4 plus years of application security experience
• 2 plus years of experience with Agile and Atlassian products such as jira/confluence or equivalent
• Good understanding of OWASP top 10
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technology integration issues
• Experience integrating AI detection and remediation tools with pipeline, Checkmarx or similar SAST tools would be desirable.

• 2 plus years of cloud experience
• 3 plus years of scripting experience – python
• 2 plus years of SQL experience

• Can be located in cyber core locations - NJ, Arizona, Charlotte, Dallas. Hybrid in office 3 days week.
