POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Senior Application Administrator - Service Now - is responsible for the administration, configuration, and architectural design of the Service Now platform. This role ensures the platform is scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives. The incumbent leads Service Now solution design, manages integrations, and partners with stakeholders to deliver robust ITSM, ITOM, and automation solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design scalable, secure application configurations (multi‑node, HA/DR, certificates, SSO/LDAP, load balancing), ensuring best practices and alignment with business needs.
• Administer, configure, and maintain Service Now modules, workflows, and integrations; manage upgrades and releases.
• Lead incident resolution, root‑cause analysis, and performance tuning for Service Now; drive corrective actions and post‑mortems.
• Implement and maintain security controls (RBAC, encryption, audit logs); ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Develop and maintain scripts, automation, and monitoring to optimize platform performance and reduce manual effort.
• Coach Application Administrators; maintain standards, runbooks, and knowledge articles.

SKILLS AND

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 5-7 years administering Service Now platforms, with proven experience leading complex changes and major incident resolution.
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, AWS, CompTIA; security certifications are a plus).
• Expertise in Service Now administration and architecture, including ITSM, ITOM, and custom application development.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.
