Overview
Job Overview The Children’s Services Coordinator will oversee and provide clinical leadership in the implementation of all Children’s Services at Their Place to ensure that high quality, accessible care is provided and will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative management of all clinical children’s services programs & supervision of program staff.
We are committed to providing services to children of all ages who are experiencing challenges with learning, social skills, sensory processing, speech/language skills and/or motor development.
Report to: Chief Executive Officer
Responsibilities- To foster, implement and monitor program processes to ensure both best practice service to clients and best practice fiscal reimbursement and management.
- Provide Direct Service Staff employee oversight, observations, supervision of cases, and training pertaining to ensure day to day operations runs smoothly.
- Supervise employees/independent consultants providing clinical in-home services. Clinical staff will include OT, PT & SLP in addition to behavioral staff.
- Coordinate with training staff for on-going trainings and training materials for all practitioners providing autism services.
- Conduct initial evaluations and ongoing evaluations required to obtain authorization from insurance companies for services.
- Assist with re-evaluation of children to maintain insurance authorization.
- Assist with issues pertaining to insurance.
- Assist with initial ABLLS-R/VB-MAPP assessment on children and then update this assessment every 4-6 months.
- Communicate with and provide support to staff therapists (through phone, email, or in person).
- Provide general oversight to ensure best practice monitoring and compliance for all clinical staff.
- Serve as point of contact for new incoming families interested in social skills & services offered.
- Provide support to practitioners providing autism services to facilitate problem resolution, communication between team members and service provision.
- Ensure compliance with BCBA & clinical staff and insurance company regulations.
- Travel may be required.
- Participate in the recruitment and hiring of program staff.
- Provide backup coverage to child outpatient programming which may include being available after-hours/weekends based on client needs.
- Attend community outreach fairs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO & COO.
- Responsible for general program scheduling and monitoring staff and client appointments.
- A master’s degree in family therapy, social work, or counseling
- A valid NJ license as a Family Therapist, Social Worker or Professional Counselor (LMFT, LCSW, LPC), or a doctorate in psychology and a valid NJ license as a psychologist is required.
- Maintains current licensure/certification as required by the professional licensing board.
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with children on the autism spectrum.
- Must have demonstrated knowledge of OT, PT & SLP disciplines.
- Minimum of 3-5 years supervisory experience required.
- Experience in quality assurance/review, compliance and billing support.
- Proficiency in navigating insurance processes and documentation requirements for billing purposes.
- Must have demonstrated knowledge of NJ Perform Care, NJ CSoc, and Medicaid regulations.
- Valid CPR License
- Valid NJ Driver’s License
- Must be able to pass background check, drug screen and all pre-employment requirements.
- Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to function independently

- Maintain confidential and/or any other required program documents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and families
- Strong clinical decision-making skills

- Knowledge of insurance billing & budgeting a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
