Relief Support Worker – Woodbridge
Mencap are seeking Relief Support Workers to join our incredible team in Woodbridge. As a Relief Support Worker, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will work with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs, assisting with daily activities and providing emotional support.
Requirements
- Hold a full UK driving licence and be comfortable driving people to various destinations.
- Genuine passion for supporting others.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
- All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
Contract options
- Relief – primarily covering shifts services are 24hr care. Rotas are prepared at least 4 weeks in advance so you can plan your personal and social life.
- Non‑contractual sleep‑in (if desired) available with an enhanced flat‑rate payment of £63.70.
