Senior Accountant - Consolidations Accounting

Salary: to $108K plus bonus

Location: Iselin NJ area (hybrid)

High profile Senior Accountant position with significant exposure to leadership. Successful candidate will have Big 4 experience and the CPA exam or actively pursuing. • Participate on cross-functional teams to ensure proper accounting for entity acquisitions and divestitures
• Review financial statement accounts by analyzing account balances, researching variations, and obtaining entity commentary
• Collaborate with other Finance teams to assist with analysis and to ensure accurate presentation of financial results
• Drive continuous improvement and efficiency in financial reporting by preparing ad hoc analyses/reports and assisting with special projects
• Provide accounting guidance/instructions to business divisions/legal entities
• Ensure compliance with Finance policies and procedures, internal controls, and S404 requirements
• Prepare consolidation journal entries, including processing post-closing adjustments
• Prepare and reference 10Q/10K footnote disclosures

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years of experience in an accounting related role, internal audit, or Big 4 public accounting
• Understanding of the relationship between income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement
• Ability to analyze financial reports and to prepare and maintain various supporting schedules
• Proficient experience working with Microsoft Excel
  
  CPA or MBA a plus
