Job Summary

Software Engineer 3 / SQL – 24‑month contract (possible conversion) located on‑site in Iselin, NJ. Pay rate: $58–$62 per hour.

• 5–8 years of engineering experience
• 6+ years of SQL development
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience with large data volumes, data modeling, and data design
• 1–2 years of cloud technology experience (preferably Google Cloud)
• Agile background
• Self‑starting, able to take initiative and learn new tasks quickly

• Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines for large data volumes across multiple business domains.
• Perform SQL development and data engineering tasks supporting data persistence and transformation.
• Use Python to support pipeline logic, automation, and data processing activities.
• Collaborate with senior leads and cross‑functional teams to evaluate engineering challenges and deliver solutions.
• Support cloud‑based development, preferably within Google Cloud environments.
• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex engineering issues requiring in‑depth evaluation.
• Work within a standard Scrum team of 10, including senior leads, data engineers, and automation engineers.
• Ensure compliance with engineering processes, policies, and corporate standards.
