Job Description
Structure Tone New Jersey, part of the STO Building Group, is looking for an experienced Lead Superintendent to support our healthcare construction projects. The Lead Superintendent is responsible for the timely and cost‑effective field coordination, quality control and day‑to‑day supervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projects.
Responsibilities- Prepares the project schedule and maintains reports accurately describing project status.
- Maintains ICRA standards in occupied healthcare spaces.
- Responsible for timely and cost‑effective field coordination, quality control and day‑to‑day supervision of subcontracted work forces.
- Reviews status and project progress with the Project Manager and client representatives on a regular basis; large projects may include multiple superintendents.
- Ensures safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when operating tools and equipment.
- Directs subcontractor activities within pharma projects.
- Analyzes manpower, material, and equipment requirements, and interfaces them with others as designated by the supervising superintendent.
- Implements and enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management.
- Prepares reports and forecasts as required, keeping supervisors informed of overall progress.
- 15+ years of field experience in commercial projects.
- Experience working within ICRA standards and occupied spaces.
- Commercial and healthcare construction experience is preferred.
- Experience should include supervisory responsibility as a General Foreman, Field Engineer, or Assistant Superintendent.
- Well‑developed communication, interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills are required.
Salary: $175,000 – $200,000
CompensationIn addition to base pay, eligible for discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
