Mencap are seeking Relief Support Workers to join our incredible team in Woodbridge.
About the roleAs a Relief Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will work with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.
Key responsibilitiesFrom assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you'll play a vital role in their lives.
RequirementsWe need you to hold a full UK driving licence, and be comfortable driving people to various destinations.
What We’re Looking For- A genuine passion for supporting others.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
Relief. Predominantly to cover shifts our services are 24hr care. Rotas are prepared at least 4 weeks in advance so you can plan personal and social life.
There is also a non-contractual sleep‑in available, with an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70.
