Senior Software Engineer

This role involves working on real‑time control systems for medical devices, primarily focusing on firmware development using C++. The position requires experience with embedded firmware and familiarity with regulatory standards for medical devices.

• Develop and maintain embedded firmware for real‑time control systems in medical devices.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in firmware development.
• Collaborate with a small, dynamic team to achieve project goals.
• Participate in software testing and cybersecurity measures.
• Contribute to the development and testing of code for websites as needed.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in firmware development
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and/or C for embedded systems.
• Experience with medical device software and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with ICU or ISO standards.

• Experience in cybersecurity is desirable.
• Experience developing and testing code for websites is a plus.

Permanent position based out of Wood Dale, IL.

The pay range for this position is $ - $/yr. 15% bonus based off of performance, must be hired before July 1 and will be paid out following March.

This is a fully onsite position in Wood Dale, IL.

This position is anticipated to close on Mar 23, 2026.
