Part Time Educator - Addison School District – Right At School

Right At School provides local school districts with before- and after-school extended day programs that focus on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment for all students. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by building a team of mission‑driven individuals who foster a love of learning and create safe, engaging experiences for children.

Candidates should be open to working in any of the schools we partner with in the Addison School District, as we are unable to accommodate preferred location assignments.

• Pay: $16‑19/hour (based on education and experience)

  Monday‑Friday, 7:00 AM‑8:30 AM and 3:00 PM‑6:00 PM

Candidates should be available to work all five days a week for both the morning and afternoon shifts in their entirety.

• Daily Program Meetings:
  Review goals, share updates, discuss professional progress, and encourage collaboration and team accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily
  
  Activities:
  
  Prepare, align, and lead structured activities and curriculum that meet program objectives while being educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Lead by Example:
  Maintain a safe, nurturing environment and model positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Prioritize Safety and Joy:
  Monitor the environment, address hazards, follow safety protocols, and document attendance, incidents, and observations.
• Communicate Effectively:
  Meet the needs of children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

• Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills
• Team‑player with excellent collaboration skills
• Ability to lift 25 lbs
• Passion for inspiring a love of learning and commitment to healthy living
• Flexible to support additional local programs as needed

• Meet state‑specific requirements
• First Aid and CPR (in‑person)
• Cleared tuberculosis test
• 18 + years of age
• Proof of high school diploma or GED required
