What You Will Do:
  • Lead Direct Practice: Engage families in meaningful discussions and design bespoke interventions that reflect each child’s individual needs.
  • Utilise SEND

    Experience:

    Apply your in-depth knowledge in working with children with disabilities, managing assessments, care planning, and urgent interventions.
  • Prevent Escalation: Deliver targeted interventions aimed at reducing the need for escalated statutory involvement.
  • Collaborate Across Services: Lead multi‑agency planning meetings, ensuring coordinated and effective support for families.
  • Apply Legislative Knowledge: Confidently apply child protection legislation and safeguarding protocols in all aspects of your work.
  • Implement the Graduated Model: Adapt Wolverhampton’s innovative early intervention framework to help families at every level of need.
  • Support Transitions: Champion preparation for adulthood, ensuring young people with SEND experience smooth transitions into independence.
