The Supply Register is working in partnership with Wolverhampton College to recruit Security Officers to support delivery across the campus.
We have Future Supply FE Bank Opportunities available.
The Role
As a Security Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment across all college campuses.
Responsibilities include:
• Providing a professional, courteous front‑of‑house service for students, staff, visitors, and contractors
• Conducting regular patrols, monitoring CCTV, and checking buildings, equipment, and access points
• Supervising student behaviour across campus and promoting a positive college ethos
• Managing access through vehicle barriers, overseeing deliveries, and ensuring visitor/contractor procedures are followed
• Completing security administration, including incident logs, statements, and reports
• Locking/unlocking buildings, setting alarms, managing keys, and participating in the key‑holder rota
• Supporting emergency procedures, including safe evacuation during fire alarms or other incidents
• Assisting with First Aid situations where required
• Reporting safeguarding, health & safety, and security concerns promptly
• Monitoring and organising car parking, including managing unauthorised parking
• Ensuring deliveries are stored safely and recorded accurately
What We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from:
• Experienced Security Officers
• Individuals with a background in facilities, customer service, or public‑facing roles
• Candidates seeking full‑time roles with opportunities for overtime
Essential / desirable:
• Experience in a security, facilities, or customer‑facing environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm and assertive during incidents
• Good IT skills and confidence maintaining accurate records
• Understanding of safeguarding, health & safety, and emergency procedures
• Flexibility to work across multiple campuses
• First Aid training (desirable)
• Experience monitoring CCTV systems (desirable)
• Full UK driving licence (desirable)
• SIA License (essential)
