Quality Assurance - QA​/QC Technician, Quality Technician​/ Inspector

About the Role

Reporting into the Laboratory Manager, the successful Technician will be working on the testing of Asphalt, HBMs, Aggregate and developing products. This role is mainly based working within our National Laboratory for Technical Innovation in Wolverhampton, but you may be required to travel to deliver and obtain samples on occasions, or test on site when required.

In this role, you as the successful Technician will be carrying out the following duties and responsibilities (not exhaustive)

• Test procedures ensuring procedures are fully documented, understood and communicated to comply with company standards
• Sampling & Testing carrying out sampling and testing in line with contract requirements utilising in-house company schedule and external 3rd party accredited test houses where required
• Working with the technicians for laboratory testing, checking results, carrying out preliminary investigations into complaints and providing technical information to clients
• Ensuring your work is carried out in line with company procedures and in a safe manner whilst maintaining a safe and accredited testing environment and have the correct equipment available in calibration
