We have an exciting opportunity within the Pharmacy Stores at Royal Wolverhampton NHS trust.

Working 30 hours a week over 5 days Monday-Friday, ideally 10:00-17:00. The successful candidate must be able to work a late night until 6pm once a fortnight. Weekends and bank holiday duties are undertaken on a rota basis.

The successful candidate should have relevant experience in an environment where the role includes stock control, picking and packing stock, replenishing shelves and providing excellent customer services. Good computer skills are also required.

Responsibilities
  • Supply pharmaceutical stock to wards and departments, picking and packing stock.
  • Provide a top‑up service by visiting wards and departments.
  • Supply clinics across the Royal Wolverhampton area, including District Nursing and Renal teams.
  • Receive stock from suppliers, put stock away and participate in departmental stock checks.
  • Use automated cabinets and robot within the department to support workflow across the trust.
  • Respond to urgent stock requests and prioritise work sometimes under pressure.
  • Replenish automated pharmaceutical stock cabinets on wards and departments.
  • Support the goods receipt team with the receipt of pharmaceutical stock and put it away.
  • Participate in stock taking and stock control.
  • Work across all trust sites including New Cross, West Park, and Cannock Chase sites.
  • Work a late night, weekends, and bank holidays on a rota basis.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 GCSEs, including Maths and English.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent (or willingness to work towards).
  • Experience in a picking and packing environment or goods receipt or providing a "top‑up service".
