General Labourer

Overview

We are looking for a General Labourer to work alongside our Plant Fitter supporting the maintenance and preparation of large plant machinery. This is a hands-on role that involves cleaning machinery returning from site and assisting with general yard and workshop duties. Machinery may arrive dirty and will require thorough cleaning before maintenance work is carried out. The role is mainly based outdoors, so applicants must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.

The work can also be physically demanding at times.

• Assisting the Plant Fitter with day-to-day tasks
• Cleaning plant machinery returning from site
• Supporting basic maintenance preparation
• General yard and workshop labouring duties
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Positive and hardworking attitude
• Ability to carry out physical work
• Interest in large plant machinery would be an advantage

• Full PPE provided
