Veterinary Surgeon

About the Role

We’re seeking a confident and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to lead a busy, independent small-animal practice in the West Midlands. You’ll operate in sole charge
, fully responsible for the clinical side, supported by an experienced nursing team.

• Well-equipped with an in-house laboratory, digital X-ray, ultrasound and more
• Located a short drive from Wolverhampton and Walsall, serving a loyal local clientele
• Strong community reputation and over 30 years of continuous operation

• Excellent remuneration: up to £80,000 FTE
  , depending on experience
• Great work/life balance:
  no weekends, no out-of-hours work
• Flexible part-time structure (ideally 2–3 days/week)
• 10-minute consult slots

• Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience in small animal practice
• Comfortable with sole charge clinical decision making across general medicine and surgery
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centred approach
• Motivated to build on established success and lead a high standard of care
