Deburr Operator – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract (Shifts)

A well‑established engineering manufacturer is looking for a precise and adaptable Deburr Operator to join their production team on an initial 12‑month fixed‑term contract, with the possiblity of a permanent role on completion. This is a great opportunity to work within a friendly, supportive environment where employees are encouraged to grow, develop new skills and progress within the business.

In this role, you will be responsible for finishing high‑precision aerospace components by removing burrs, smoothing edges and ensuring parts meet strict quality and dimensional requirements. You will work closely with both production and quality teams while following established processes and maintaining excellent standards of workmanship.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in deburring, metal finishing or precision component manufacturing

• Confident using hand tools, power tools and inspection equipment

• Ability to read technical drawings and follow work instructions

• Strong attention to detail and steady manual handling skills

• Understanding of aerospace or automotive quality standards

• Able to work morning/afternoon shifts and occasional overtime
