Electrical Maintenance Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading steel manufacturing operation with key sites producing high-quality steel for the construction, automotive, and packaging sectors.

This is a hands-on maintenance role supporting a heavy industrial environment, ensuring electrical systems and equipment operate safely, reliably, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical fault finding, maintenance, and repair of industrial plant and machinery

• Planned preventative maintenance and breakdown response

• Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

• Working in compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

Shift Pattern

• Alternating shifts:
  Morning, Afternoon, and Nights

Salary & Benefits

• Starting salary: $34,904

• Rising to 36,109 plus a 20% shift allowance from day one

• Shift allowance applied immediately

Requirements

• Recognised electrical qualification

• Experience with in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment (steel, metals, or similar preferred)

• Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills

• Willingness to work rotating shifts
