Vacuum Braze/Furnace Operator
Collins Aerospace is looking for a Skilled Vacuum Braze/Furnace Operator to join our Operations Department at the HS Marston facility in Wolverhampton.

What You Will DoThe successful candidate will operate 12 vacuum furnaces for steel and aluminium brazing.
Responsibilities- A good knowledge of Vacuum furnace brazing control systems and heat exchanger production would be an advantage, however training would be given.
- Work independently, conducting regular TPM checks, Leak-up checks and SAT check procedures.
- Inspect Post/Pre braze Matrix, Heat exchangers and components.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives such as ACE activities (5S, TPM, Turnbacks, and Clinics).
- Maintain traceability of materials and adhere to quality control standards.
- Ensure the workspace remains clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.
- Adhere to all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) requirements.
- Morning: 6:00 AM–1:45 PM (Monday–Thursday) and 6:00 AM–12:00 PM (Friday).
- Afternoon: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM (Monday–Thursday) and 12:15 PM–5:15 PM (Friday).
- Nights: 8:30 PM–6:15 AM (Monday‑Thursday).

- Experience:
industry insights, practical hands‑on skills, and exposure to the latest tools and technologies in the industry.
- Qualifications will include a City & Guilds or NVQ level 2 in an engineering discipline.
- Working knowledge of Word and Excel applications.
- Experience in a similar discipline is an advantage.
- Existing knowledge of NADCAP Guidelines is an advantage.
