We’re partnering with a well‑established, supportive children’s residential provider that truly invests in its managers. You’ll be trusted to open and lead a specialist 2‑bed home supporting children aged 8–17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties, within a calm, nurturing, child‑centred environment.

Your Role as Registered Manager

(Ofsted registration required – support provided throughout)

You’ll be trusted to run the home day‑to‑day and set the standard for care, practice, and culture. Your responsibilities will include:

* Leading the safe opening and ongoing operation of a 2‑bed children’s home

* Building, inspiring, and developing a committed staff team

* Creating a safe, trauma‑informed, child‑centred environment

* Maintaining high standards in line with Ofsted and Children’s Homes Regulations

* Managing rotas, supervisions, budgets, and development plans

* Acting as the home’s Registered Manager with Ofsted

You won’t be micromanaged — but you will be fully supported.

What We’re Looking For

This role is ideal if you are:

* An experienced Deputy Manager ready to take the next step

* Passionate about child‑centred, trauma‑informed care

* Confident leading teams and setting expectations

* Motivated by building stability and long‑term outcomes for young people

You’ll also need:

* At least 3 years’ experience in children’s residential care

* 1+ year in a Deputy Manager or Managerial role

* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Children & Young People)

* Experience supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties

* Strong knowledge of safeguarding and residential regulations

* A full UK driving licence
