Financial Wellbeing Team Manager

Contract type – full time permanent

Work style – Flexible: working in communities across the city

Location:

City of Wolverhampton Council, Wolverhampton, United Kingdom

Salary – £44,075 – £49,282 (Grade
7)

Hours – 37 per week

  • Manage and inspire a team delivering high‑quality, frontline services.
  • Coordinate innovative projects aligned to the Financial Wellbeing Strategy.
  • Build strong partnerships across Wolverhampton to create sustainable solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure safeguarding standards are met.
  • Empower residents to achieve financial independence and resilience.

  • Proven experience managing teams and delivering multiple priorities.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a solution‑focused approach.
  • Knowledge of financial wellbeing, income maximisation, and cost‑of‑living challenges.

  • Degree‑level qualification (or equivalent) and commitment to ongoing development.
