Conveyancing Legal Secretary – Dudley

An established and forward-thinking law firm close to Dudleyis looking to recruit a Legal Secretary to join its team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for organised, professional individuals with previous experience in conveyancing support who enjoy working in a fast-paced legal environment.

About the Role:

The Residential Conveyancing Legal Secretary will provide vital day-to-day support to Conveyancers and Solicitors, ensuring that all administrative and client service tasks are handled efficiently and to a high standard.

This position offers a varied workload and the chance to be part of a friendly and collaborative team.

Main

Responsibilities Include:
  • Producing, formatting and proofreading correspondence, contracts and legal documents using the firm's case management system
  • Maintaining accurate digital and physical files and ensuring that all case records are kept up to date
  • Liaising courteously with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders to assist in progressing property transactions
  • Arranging and coordinating appointments, meetings and key dates in the conveyancing process
  • Undertaking general administrative tasks and assisting with case preparation when required
  • Managing workload priorities to meet deadlines and maintain service excellence in a busy office setting
About You:

The firm is looking for confident and motivated individuals who take pride in delivering efficient and professional support.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within residential conveyancing
  • Strong typing and document-production skills, with knowledge of legal terminology
  • Excellent organisation and multitasking abilities, with close attention to detail
  • Professional and clear communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and case management software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive legal team
