The Role

The Directorate of Student Recruitment, Marketing and Admissions at the University of Wolverhampton is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join as an International Recruitment Officer. This role focuses on increasing applications and enrolments from international students and supporting the University’s global recruitment objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic recruitment plans designed to grow international student numbers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with international schools and colleges, and manage a network of recruitment agents and partners.
  • Represent the University at recruitment events and support on‑campus recruitment activities and initiatives.
  • Strengthen the University’s global presence and ensure a high‑quality experience for prospective students throughout the recruitment journey.
About You
  • Proven experience in international student recruitment and managing overseas recruitment activity.
  • Strong understanding of the international higher education recruitment landscape from both commercial and cultural perspectives.
  • Confidence in delivering presentations to a variety of audiences, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and organising recruitment events.
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to analyse data to inform recruitment activity.
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel overseas for extended periods as required.
