Position: Senior Clinical Support Worker | The Royal NHS Trust

Senior Care Support Worker

Be working in a newly commissioned Paediatric High Dependency Unit as part of an MDT caring for children and young people.

Responsibilities
  • Be an integral member of the ward/department team working under the direct or indirect supervision of a registered practitioner.
  • Be responsible for providing care to patients as delegated by the registered practitioner following the completion of specific competencies.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of care environment and quality initiatives to enhance patient care.
  • Ensure that their practice adheres to policies, procedures and competencies.
  • Act in a manner that upholds privacy, dignity, respect and confidentiality of patients and colleagues.
  • Personal care.
  • Nutrition and hydration.
  • Communication.
  • Infection prevention and control.
  • General ward and department duties.
