Finance Manager

As the Finance Manager, you will oversee financial management and reporting, ensuring robust financial control and providing commercial insights that support key decision‑making across the organisation. This is a permanent position with an attractive annual salary ranging from £60,000 to £70,000.

• Produce accurate monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and financial models.
• Monitor financial performance against budget, offering clear analysis and commentary.

• Manage product costing.
• Analyse yields, waste, and labour efficiency to support operational decision‑making.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify cost‑saving opportunities.

• Oversee cash flow forecasting and daily cash management.
• Ensure effective debtor and creditor management.
• Support improvements in stock control and working capital efficiency.
• Lead, manage, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Set objectives and support team members’ personal development.

• Act as a trusted finance partner to senior management, providing financial insights for investment appraisals and new product development.

• Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar role, ideally within manufacturing.
• Strong management accounting, costing, and margin knowledge.
• Proficient in Excel and financial analysis.
