Management Accountant

SF Recruitment is working with a growing group to recruit a newly qualified Management Accountant into a commercially focused role with a clear development pathway.

This position will take responsibility for the production of management accounts across several subsidiary entities, supporting both day-to-day finance operations and longer-term strategic initiatives, including acquisition activity. The role offers exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to develop alongside a growing finance function.

The role will include:

Preparation of monthly management accounts for 3-4 subsidiary entities

Intercompany reconciliations and consolidated reporting

Supporting the integration of recently acquired businesses

Business partnering with operational stakeholders across warehousing, technology and national accounts

Assisting with budgeting and forecasting cycles

Supporting credit control processes for assigned subsidiaries

Involvement in future acquisition activity and due diligence

Developing management reporting packs and financial dashboards

Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and automation

Supporting and mentoring junior members of the finance team as the function grows

The ideal candidate will:

Be ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, or a finalist with strong hands-on experience

Have experience working within a multi-entity environment, including intercompany accounting

Be confident managing the month-end process and working with non-finance stakeholders

Ideally have exposure to mentoring or informal line management

Be comfortable working closely with senior leaders, including the CFO and CEO
